Iran, Lebanon Stress Implementation of Mutual Agreements

a03352848TEHRAN (FNA)- Tehran and Beirut are keen to expand ties and implement mutual agreements, Iranian envoy to Lebanon said on Friday.

Speaking in a meeting with Lebanese Minister of Industry Ghazi Zoayter, Mohammad Reza Sheybani added that the agreements had already been signed by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Lebanese counterpart Michel Sulayman.

The Diplomat further urged improvement of the already good ties between the two countries, and also conveyed a letter from Iranian Minister of Industries and Mines Ali Akbar Mehrabian to Zoayter to pay an official visit to Iran.

The Lebanese industry minister welcomed Mehrabian’s letter, and stressed that he will have a trip to Iran at the earliest.
