KFOR begins exercises across Kosovo

KFOR will on Monday begin a five-day unit deployment exercise across Kosovo, it was announced.

The aim is to strengthen the capacities of KFOR, EULEX and the Kosovo police, KPS, so that they could react to any scenario that brings security into question, said the announcements.

The operation will be managed by KFOR commander Markus Bentler, and it will mobilize many units from all multinational battle groups, a KFOR statement reads.

“KFOR will handle its force in Kosovo very flexibly and determinedly. The aim of these operations is to strengthen the capacities of KFOR, EULEX and the Kosovo police so that they could respond to any scenario that brings security into question,” said the statement.
