Algerian PM: At least 37 hostages killed at In Amenas complex

At least 37 hostages have been killed in the terrorist attack at the In Amenas natural gas complex from eastern Algeria, the country’s Prime Minister announced on Monday.

Five other are missing and could be dead.

Around 29 militants were killed and 3 were captured by Algerian special forces.

The siege ended on Saturday, after four days.

One last attempt of the militants was to blow up the complex and run to Mali with hostages, but were stopped by Algerian forces.
