The EU will allocate 16 million euros worth of assistance to Georgia as part of the “more for more” principle.

A financial agreement will be signed by the Georgian State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Alexi Petriashvili and European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood policy Stefan Fule in Batumi, where the conference “Georgia’s European Way: The EU’s Eastern European Partners – Towards the Vilnius Summit” takes place on Thursday.

“We hope and believe that there will be an initialing of agreement on association at the Vilnius summit,” Petriashvili said.
