Tunisia to send mission to assess security in civilian airports in Libya

A Tunisian mission will be send soon to Libya to assess the security situation in Libyan civilian airports, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday.
The mission involves the airports of “Lobruk,” “Tobruk,” “Misurata” and “Mitiga,” Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mokhtar Chaouachi said.
“The mission will draw up a report on security in civilian airports to decide on the resumption of air traffic between the two countries,” he said.
“The resumption of traffic between Tunisia and Libyan depends on the security situation in Libyan airports,” he stressed.
The mission will include representatives of the Ministries of Transport and the Interior and Tunisair Company, in co-ordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General in Libya.
