Bulgaria and Turkey have agreed to create a joint border committee to manage the flux of refugees from war torn Syria, said Bulgarian Foreign Affairs Minister Kristian Vigenin Tuesday.

Romania Oct. 28 started building a military base, which will host a U.S. ballistic missile defense system as part of the NATO system. The plan is to have the Deveselu base in southern Romania

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić will be in Russia on Tuesday and Wednesday, where he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin. Nikolić is also scheduled to take part in a Russian-Serbian investment conference in Moscow.
