NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen announced Tuesday the alliance will send an expert mission to Libya at short notice to assess needs as the country faces a flow of insurgents from Mali.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Croatia’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Ivan Starčević, whose diplomatic residence is in Athens. 

EU leaders could order the European Commission to create a platform for Serbia’s accession at the end of June. A date for the formal launch of negotiations should be determined in October.
