Serbia’s tendency to dominate its neighbors is the main obstacle to progress of the countries of the region, says Helsinki Committee President Sonja Biserko. She said that in an opening speech at the European Parliament and the Western Balkans meeting.

The RS parliament voted in favor of a decision to call a referendum where citizens would declare their support for the laws enacted by the high representative. This in particular concerned those referring to the court and the prosecutor’s office.
