Slovenia’s government adopted on Thursday guidelines for the country’s activities in the Western Balkans in order to strengthen its activities in the region.

The former minister of justice of Republika Srpska, RS, told the trial of Radovan Karadzic that Bosnian Muslims began creating “paramilitary formations” as early as in 1991, adding they were armed by Croatia and Arab countries.

The fifth regional summit on energy, investments and economic development kicks off on Thursday in the coastal Croatian town of Dubrovnik with the participation of leaders from the region and Europe. The two-day summit, hosted by Croatia, will cover the EU and NATO integration
