Ukraine’s recently elected president Viktor Yanukovych said on Monday any discussion about Ukraine’s accession to the European Union was premature. “We will see when the time comes,” he said after talks with the European Commission’s president, Jose Manuel Barroso.

Croatian Assembly Speaker Luka Bebić and his Serbian counterpart Slavica Đukić-Dejanović meet to discuss cooperation between the two countries. After the talks at the Croatian Assembly in Zagreb, Bebić said that Croatia wished to “establish and develop good neighborly relations with Serbia”.
