KABUL, Afghanistan – A roadside bomb killed two Polish soldiers patrolling in eastern Afghanistan, officials said Wednesday, while NATO announced the seizure of $400 million in opium in the south.

First Vice President Parviz Davoodi and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim al-Thani here Wednesday stressed the need for further expanding ties between the two countries at all levels.
