President Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal arrived here on Wednesday, heading a high-ranking political delegation on a one-day visit.

Iran’s Ambassador to France, Ali Ahani, urged Paris on Tuesday to preserve its political and cultural independence from Washington by not following US anti-Iran policies.

Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel said on Wednesday that Iran is the anchor of stability in the region.Addressing a local gathering, the speaker added that all countries have admitted Tehran’s major role in establishing regional stability.
