Units of alien troops deployed at Iran’s borders with one of its neighboring countries abandoned their position in a great hurry after they received a warning from Iranian forces, Commander of the Iranian army said here on Monday.

Iran pursues cooperation with Afghanistan due to the two nations’ common religious beliefs, joint interests and shared borders, Iranian foreign minister said.

Iran said that it would consider possibility for continuing talks with Washington on Iraq if only US officials extended a relevant request to Tehran through diplomatic channels.
