Foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates conferred about bilateral ties in a meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki met with his Jordanian counterpart Abdel-Elah Mohammad Al-Khatib on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Ali Shakeri, an Iranian-American national who was arrested on May 8, was released on a bail of approximately USD 100,000 Monday night.
