Head of Iran-Iraq friendship association Ali Agha-Mohammadi in a meeting with the Prime Minister of the local government of Iraq’s Kurdistan, Nichervan Barezani, on Wednesday stressed the need for the restoration of calm and stability in Iraq.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei Wednesday stressed that the upcoming talks between Iran and the US will only include a discussion of the duties of foreign troops for restoring security in Iraq.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said some agents working for the enemies of the Iranian nation seek to sow seeds of discord between Iran and regional countries while all regional states are cooperating with each other in a brotherly manner.
