Iran’s top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani called on the western countries to give up their preconditions for the resumption of talks with the Islamic Republic.

Since the western side has given up its preconditions and demands negotiations under a peaceful atmosphere, Larijani and Solana may reach an agreement in their Wednesday talks, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini said here on Monday.

Iran’s Ambassador to Bangkok Mohsen Pak Ayeen denied reports about the delayed operation of Mehr Petrochemical project in Iran’s Assaluyeh region, assuring that the project is facing no problems at all.
