An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale jolted the outskirts of the city of Fathabad in Iran’s southern province of Fars on Wednesday.

Iran and Singapore underlined the need to bolster joint investments, and called for direct relations between the two countries’ banks and financial institutes.

Poland’s ambassador to Tehran here Wednesday welcomed privatization of state-owned industries and companies in Iran, and viewed it as an excellent opportunity for expanding Tehran-Warsaw economic ties and cooperation.
