Fugitive multibillionaire Shahram Jazayeri who embezzled millions of dollars from Iranian government and banks was arrested after he escaped prison a few weeks ago.

Turkish ambassador to Tehran said that his country is making serious efforts to clarify the case of the former Iranian deputy defense minister, Ali Reza Asgari.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the Iranian government supports Iranian nationals residing abroad and defends their rights everywhere in the world.
