The province’s negotiating team, the Unity Group, decided on Tuesday (July 17th) that parliament will hold a debate on July 30th concerning the delay in resolving Kosovo’s status.

The United States and its EU allies formally introduced a draft resolution on Kosovo late Tuesday (July 17th) despite Russia’s opposition to the text. It calls for 120 days of new talks between Belgrade and Pristina, after which the UN Security Council would review the situation.

Four people were killed in Mogadishu Wednesday in continuing violence a day before the resumption of the troubled peace talks.
