Iran has rejected French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian’s request for curbing its missile program after a day of tense discussions in Tehran on Monday aimed at salvaging the historic nuclear deal.

Iranian and Russian officials during a recent joint economic commission meeting in Moscow, have discussed joining the Russian-made Sukhoi Super Jet 100 passenger planes into Iran’s air fleet, said a Russian minister.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg praised Jordan’s role in the fight against Daesh, stressing that Jordan played a key role in defeating the terrorist group.
