Prime Ministers of Bulgaria and Romania have agreed to support Serbia’s EU accession at a meeting in the Danube town of Ruse.

During the trilateral meeting of premiers Friday Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia officials noted that both countries were interested in accelerating EU accession of Western Balkan countries, which would allow further cooperation with the instruments of the European Commission.

The three prime ministers said that they discussed opportunities for joint projects in the Danube Strategy, in order to fast-track development of the region.
