In a meeting with head of the second office of central and northern Europe affairs department at foreign ministry, Hash voiced regret at publication of the offensive caricatures in the European press.

Hash said religions and nations should not be insulted on the pretext of freedom of expression. He said Romanian President Traian Basescu has also called on the press to avoid publishing insulting drawings which disrespect religious feelings.
