TEHRAN, Mar. 6 (MNA) — A group of foreign journalists has been invited to spend a week touring Iran in spring, the Public Relations Office of the 1st International Conference on Tourism and Handicrafts announced on Monday.
The tour is being organized by the conference headquarters and will begin on May 5.
The organizers intend to familiarize the foreign journalists with the cultural variety and tourist attractions of Iran and to provide them an opportunity to directly observe the talent of Iranian artisans and artists.
The guests will visit historical monuments and handicrafts museums all over the country.
In addition, World Tourism Organization Secretary General Francesco Frangialli, tourism ministers and experts, and NGO officials from several countries will attend the 1st International Conference on Tourism and Handicrafts, which is to be held in Tehran from May 13 to 15.
