Australia Hopeful about Iran-West Nuclear Talks

A0012753.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Australian ambassador to Tehran Monday said that his country is optimistic about the trend of nuclear talks between Iran and the west.

Stating that neighboring states and world circles should be informed of the nature of Iran’s nuclear programs, Gregory Muriarti stressed that Iran’s right to access peaceful nuclear technology must be considered as a major component underlying the nuclear talks.

He said Australia believes that continued talks are the only way to achieve positive results with regard to Iran’s nuclear issue.

The diplomat voiced his country’s strong opposition to isolation of Iran, given the fact that Iran is a great, influential country which plays a pivotal role in the region and the world.
