A0139976.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Deputy Foreign Minister assured that the United Nations Security Council draft resolution on Iran won’t be approved by the member states.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the 14th International Conference on Central Asia and Caucasus here on Tuesday, Mahdi Mostafavi described issuance of the proposed resolution as the illusion of some world powers, and said, “I believe that the draft resolution is not in conformity with the realities existing in the international arena and in Iran’s relations with the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).”

He described reports that the draft resolution has been prepared by certain countries as a series of bluffs, and stated, “Such statements are mere bluffs and create an atmosphere of propaganda and psychological war. But they should remember that this is not the first time the Islamic Republic of Iran is facing such bluffs.”

Asked to state his prediction about the future of the case, the diplomat noted Iran’s diplomatic efforts, and said, “We are demanding continued talks while many other countries, seeking a solution to the case, have voiced their support for our views.”
