Iran, Malaysia to Form Joint Commission on Women

A0190992.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran and Malaysia are set to form a joint commission for cooperation on women and family affairs, chairman of the Iranian parliament’s Women’s Fraction said.

Speaking to FNA, Fatema Alya noted to a recent session attended by the members of her fraction and Malaysia’s Family and Women’s Affairs Minister, and said that during the meeting, the two sides have discussed women’s activities in the two countries.

Stating that the two sides have endorsed a memorandum of understanding to boost mutual cooperation in women and family affairs, she mentioned that similar relations between the two Muslim states would be continued via parliamentary friendship groups.
