TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran’s nuclear progress and technology will reach a point before the end of this (Iranian) year that it could not be backtracked.
Ahmadinejad made the remarks while addressing a fervent congregation of people in Galougah, northern Iran during the first leg of his visit to Mazandaran province.
“Today we own the nuclear fuel production technology and we are just one step away from stabilizing the nuclear rights of our country,” he said, adding that the country will celebrate restoration of nuclear rights before the current (Iranian) year ends, “and at that stage, our country’s nuclear technology will have reached an irreversible point.”
Iran’s solar calendar year ends on March 20th.
The president reminded the horrible antecedents of the US and Britain, saying that whenever the word ‘US administration’ is mentioned in discussions, it reminds people of war and bloodshed, “while the word Britain reminds people of hypocrisy and sowing of seeds of discord.”
He advised bullying powers to take lessons from their regrettable conditions in Iraq and Afghanistan, and said, “Anyway, these bullying powers should suffice to their own rights.”
Ahmadinejad reminded that the world powers intend to block the Iranian nation’s access to peaceful civilian nuclear technology while they themselves spend tens of billions of dollars on improving their nuclear military capabilities and producing nuclear weapons.
Meantime, he warned bullying powers that if they decide to go on with the same policies, power of the nations will make them face defeat and failure.
