Iranian Delegation Confers with Qatari Minister

A013997611.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- An economic and trade delegation from Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines met with Qatari commerce minister in Doha on Wednesday.A report released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau said that during the meeting, Qatar’s minister of economy and commerce voiced his country’s enthusiasm for the development of economic and trade ties with the Muslim state of Iran.

Yusif Husayn al-Kamal further stressed the resolve of the two countries’ senior officials to strengthen trade and commercial exchanges, specially by the private sector.

Further in the meeting which was also attended by Iran’s Ambassador to Doha Mohammad Taher Rabbani, the two sides explored avenues for the expansion and development of economic cooperation and trade ties by the Islamic Republic of Iran and Qatar.

The economic and trade delegation of Iran’s chamber of commerce, industries and mines is in Qatar to get further acquainted with the potentials and capabilities of that country through attending talks with officials and traders and paying visit to the different economic and trade centers of Qatar.

The delegation has so far conferred with Qatari traders, businessmen, officials of the health ministry and Iranians residing in that country about the development of joint cooperation.
