While some western diplomats have claimed that IAEA has suspended some of its technical aids to Iran in an attempt to comply with the UN Security Council Resolution 1737, an informed source told FNA, “Based on paragraph 16 of UNSC Resolution 1737, IAEA is required to study its technical aids to Iran and provide the Board of Governors with the results.”

Saying that the IAEA Director General has not yet presented its reports to the Board, he added, “Once the Board of Governors receives ElBaradei’s report, it will decide whether IAEA should stop cooperation with Iran or not and it will deal with each case one by one.”

The West has called on the International Atomic Energy Agency to revise its cooperation with Iran in 65 aids projects.
