Iranian VP to Leave for Damascus

A027258511.jpg Iran’s First Vice-President Parviz Dawoodi is due to leave for Syria on Thursday. During his day-long trip, Dawoodi is scheduled to inaugurate assembly line of the Iranian ‘Samand’ passenger car in Syria.

Dawoodi will be accompanied by Tahmasbi, the Industries Minister, and Manouchehr Manteqi, Managing Director of Samand manufacturer Iran-Khordo Company, in this second visit to Syria.

The Iranian first vice-president is also due to attend meetings with high-ranking Syrian officials during the trip.
