The incoming ambassador of Ukraine to Tehran reiterated that Ukraine calls for the expansion of ties with Iran in all the various fields. According to FNA news desk, in a meeting, Igor Raginev, the new ambassador of Ukraine to Tehran while submitting his credentials to the Iranian foreign minister, Manouchehr Mottaki, discussed the latest regional and international developments as well as mutual ties between the two states.
In this meeting, Iranian foreign minister Mottaki laid emphasis on the expansion of mutual ties and stressed varying potentials for cooperation stating that the relations between Iran and Ukraine in the economic, trade and energy fields can prove effective in the expansion of bilateral and multilateral relations between the two nations and open new horizons for cooperation.
The new ambassador of Ukraine to Tehran in his turn stated that Ukraine calls for the expansion of ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields, trade, economy and energy in particular.
He added that Ukraine is prepared to also expand relations between the two states in other fields of mutual interest.
