The distinctive feature of the Iranian culture is its influence on other cultures and civilizations and transfer of valuable ethical, scientific and literary values to other cultures while preserving its original and radiant identity, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said. According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau, Mottaki made the remarks in a meeting on Wednesday with Iranian elites residing in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen, where he gave a speech on Iran and the position of Iranians in the international community.
Reiterating Iranians’ influence on other cultures and civilizations, he said, “The distinctive feature of the Iranian culture is its influence on other cultures and civilizations and transfer of valuable ethical, scientific and literary values to other cultures while preserving its original and radiant identity.”
At the end of the meeting, the Iranian foreign minister presented the audience with his assessment of the developments in Iraq and Afghanistan, the United States’ unilateral policies and their negative consequences and aftermaths, and Iran’s peaceful nuclear programs.
