Palestinian and Egyptian delagations meet

Delegation from the Palestinian Arab Front travels to Cairo to take part in the factional dialogues

A delegation from the Palestinian Arab Front on Saturday travelled from the Gaza Strip towards Cairo to take part in the Palestinian factional talks.

The delegation includes the Secretary General, Jamil Shahada, secretary of the central committee, Salim Bardini, and member of the politburo, Salah Abu Rukba.

The delegation is expected to submit proposals, reflecting the Front’s standpoint, on how to end the Palestinian infighting and secure a period of tranquillity that will ensure the fighting does not erupt anew.

The Front is also expected to propose its vision on how to reactivate and develop the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO).

The Palestinian Arab Front will also announce its stance with regards to the ceasefire with Israel.
