25,000 Danish call for Justice for Iran Opposition

NCRI – The Danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende reported, 25 thousand letters by Danish citizens addressed to Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Danish Prime Minister have called for removal of People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran from the EU terror list.The Iranian Resistance has been able to gain the support of majority in the parliament. The members of Danish parliament are pressing the government for the removal of People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran(PMOI)  from the EU terror list.

Berlingske Tidende added, Mr. Parviz Khzaie, The representative of the National Council of Resistance of Iran(NCRI) in Nordic countries said the EU court of Justice has ruled that People’s Mojahedin of Iran(MEK) listing must be annulled but the European Council of Ministers would not comply with the court’s  ruling.

All political parties in Denmark have called on the government to implement the EU Court of Justice ruling regarding the Iranian opposition.

According to this report The Danish Unity Party List has asked the Danish government to declare to the EU that Denmark is not willing to ignore the court ruling.

The European Commission of the Danish Parliament has protested to Pre Stig Muller, the Danish Foreign Minister for not consulting with this commission on the matter.  Mr. Muller has not been able to clarify the suspicion towards European Governments regarding this case.
