Iraqi leaders are due to convene in a session in the near future to explore possible ways to end the present crisis, resolve the problems and revise the country’s Constitution. Speaking to FNA here on Monday, Mohsen Hakim, political advisor to the head of the United Iraqi Alliance, said the meeting would focus on revising the constitutional law and some other fundamental issues like the country’s political process, security and establishment of national unity.
He also said that Iraqi presidential council and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki are due to attend this important session.
“Considering that leaders of the Sunni, Shiite and Kurd populations will attend the session, participants are expected to reach solutions to the existing problems,” Hakim added.
