Tahmasbi submitted his resignation to the president a few days ago, but it is not yet clear weather Ahmadinejad has accepted his demand or not as government officials decline to comment on the case, the source told FNA here on Sunday.

The industries minister has said in a recent meeting with President Ahmadinejad that he was decisive to give up his post and leave the cabinet.

Meantime, a deputy Industries minister approved Tahmasbi’s resignation, and told FNA that the minister has given up the post and left the ministry.
