Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei stressed that British, US and Zionist intelligence services are making maximum efforts to thwart unity among Muslims. Addressing participants in the Ahl-ul-Bait’s 4th World Assembly here on Sunday, Ayatollah Khamenei noted the growing Islamic vigilance among Muslims and stressed that in the war between arrogant powers and the front of Islam, the latter will certainly embrace victory.
He further reminded the old and dangerous plot for sowing discord among different Islamic faiths, and pointed to Britain’s long background and skillfulness in this regard, adding, “Unity of Muslims and formation of one single Islamic Ummah (nation) is worrisome and much dangerous for the greedy arrogant powers.”
“Therefore, in addition to Britain, the American and Zionist intelligence bodies are making their maximum efforts to prevent Muslims’ unity,” the leader continued.
He also noted the prevalence of the pure Islamic thoughts after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, and underlined that arrogant powers are seriously concerned about promotion of Islamic thoughts and teachings about Jihad (holy defense), independence, glory and honor, identity and opposition to the aliens’ hegemony by Iran, “and on the same basis, sowing discord between Iran and other Islamic countries sets one of the serious goals sought by the enemies at the present juncture.”
“But despite all the negative propaganda (against Iran), the thoughts of Iran’s Islamic Revolution are prevailing in the world and the Islamic vigilance, movement and identity of the Muslims today is not comparable to what existed twenty years ago,” Ayatollah Khamenei added.
Also referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s eye-catching growth, progress and advancements in the different managerial, scientific, technological, political dimensions in the past 20 years, he said while the world of Islam has made increasing progress and grown more energetic in the last two decades, the United States has grown weaker in the same period and does not have its previous power and owe.
The Supreme Leader further reiterated that all the aforesaid realities show the fact that in the war between the front of Islamic vigilance and righteousness and the opposite front led by the Great Satan, the United State, this will be the latter which will have to sustain defeat.
