The World Bank (WB) in its latest report on Iran’s agricultural status confessed that it has not provided due financial support for the Islamic Republic’s development programs in recent years, particularly in the agriculture sector. The Bank’s global development report on Iran’s agricultural indices and statistics admits that the sum of WB’s financial aids to Iran’s agricultural development programs from 2003 to 2005 merely amount to USD2 mln.
