Sanctions against Iran Indicative of US Paralysis

A prominent Iranian MP said here on Monday that the Unite States’ one-sided sanctions against the Islamic Republic reveal that Washington has come to a state of paralysis. Vice-chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mahmoud Mohammadi noted the Untied States new sanctions against Iran, and said that adoption of such measures by Washington is nothing new.

“The United States has sought to impose different sanctions on the Islamic Republic for years,” he said, adding, “And the fact that the United States has made continued efforts all throughout the past years to impose various sanctions on Iran indicates the US’s paralysis and the Islamic Republic’s invulnerability to these sanctions.”
