Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad voiced preparedness here on Wednesday to attend open debates with former Presidents Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and Seyed Mohammad Khatami, his main rivals on the scene of politics. “I am ready for talks with everyone,” he told reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet session here today.
Ahmadinejad’s words followed a proposal by some reformist papers for the arrangement of an open debate between Ahmadinejad and the two former presidents on the performance and programs of the incumbent administration.
