Mujahideen Blasted Russian Invaders In 3 Separate Attacks in Caucasus

A sabotage group of Chechen Mijahideen blows up a Russian military reconnaissance patrol near the village of Ersenoi in the Vedeno district of Chechnya on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, killing and wounding several invaders according to a report from the Chechen Military Command. The exact figures of Russian casualties are not known to the Mujahideen.The second explosion was carried out in a forested area several miles from the village of Eshelkhatoi. 2 Russian invaders were killed and 1 was severely wounded in the attack.

 

Meanwhile, a mobile phone base station has been blown up in Nazran, the capital of the Russian-held Caucasian Muslim state of Ingushetia, according to a Russian news report. No further details were mentined. Earlier, Russian mobile phone base stations in Chechnya and Ingushetia were frequently bomb-attacked by Mujahideen fighters.
