TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Head of Iran’s judiciary power voiced Tehran’s readiness to assist other world countries with development and progress.

Speaking in a meeting with the head of Senegal’s Supreme Judicial Council here in Tehran on Wednesday, Ayatollah Seyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi regretted that Islamic countries have not yet utilized their high potentials.
“If these capabilities and potentials are utilized well, they will produce useful and fruitful results for the world of Islam,” he added.
The official said that success and development of Muslim states are subject to the expansion of relations and continued cooperation among them, and added, “As regards legal and judicial issues, Islamic countries can take effective steps towards enhanced Muslim unity by relying on their own experiences and commonalities.”
For his part, the Senegalese official voiced pleasure in the arrangement by Tehran of a conference of the Islamic countries’ judiciary chiefs, and described the move as an initiative which would bring increased success to world of Islam.
