Iran Has No Immediate Plans to Normalize Relations with US

A036930127.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) Iran has no immediate plans to normalize relations with the United States, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said Sunday.

“Given the continuation of the hostile policies of the United States against Iran, we have no plans for the normalization of relations with America. This issue is not in our agenda,” Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini said in his weekly briefing.

Elsewhere, he said that Iran has expelled a German diplomat for “undiplomatic” behavior.

Hosseini didn’t name the diplomat and gave no additional information.
