Iran, Yemen Discuss Parliamentary Cooperation

A036930130.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) A visiting Iranian parliamentary delegation met with Vice-Speaker of the Yemeni parliament Jafa’ar Ba-Saleh in Manama on Saturday.

During the meeting attended by the member of the Iran’s Consultative Assembly, Mhamoud Madani, the head of Iran-Yemen parliamentary friendship committee and the deputy Chief of the Board of Trustees of al-Qods Foundation, Ali Akbar Muhtashimi, the two sides discussed parliamentary cooperation.

The talks dealt with means of broadening horizons of parliamentary relations between Yemen and Iran to accomplish the higher interests of the two countries.

The delegation offered the Iranian leadership’s condolences to President Saleh, the Yemeni people and the deceased’s family on the death of the parliament speaker Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein al-Ahmar.
