Ten Kurdish rebels killed in clashes in Turkey

TUNCELI, Turkey – Ten separatist Kurdish guerrillas were killed in clashes with the Turkish troops in Bingol province on Sunday, army officials said.

The clashes were continuing in eastern Turkey with the rebels of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) despite heavy winter conditions and snow, the officials said, adding that troops had suffered no casualties.
