IPC to Invite Iranian President to Attend 2008 Paralympics

A02802416.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) – Head of the International Paralympics Committee said that he would soon extend an official invitation to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to attend the inauguration ceremony of the 2008 competitions in Beijing.

According to the head of Iran’s National Paralympics Committee, Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, the IPC head had announced in a meeting in Bon last week that he intended to submit the invitation to the Iranian president during a personal meeting in the near future.
