Iran’s Former Speaker to Visit Kuwait

A02982927.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) – Iran’s former Parliament Speaker Mehdi Karroubi will visit Kuwait in mid-March.

Karroubi, who was Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly before Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took office as President in mid-2005, will travel to Kuwait on 16 March on a four-day trip.

His trip will be aimed at expanding ties between the two Islamic states, according to a report by MNA.

Karroubi visited China in December.
