Iran-Russia discuss police cooperation

Iran’s ambassador to Russia in a meeting with head of investigation committee of the Russian prosecutor general office Alexandr Bastrikin discussed cooperation between police of the two countries.

According to the report of Itar-Tass, Gholam Reza Ansari in the meeting on Wednesday discussed security-related issues and the rights of Iranian diplomats in Russia.

The Iranian envoy also asked about the results of Russian prosecutor office investigation on murder of the son of an Iranian diplomat last September by unknown assailants.

Ahmad Reza Khorrami, a university student and son of an embassy employee was killed by unknown assailants last September.

Bastrikin said, “Investigation on this case continues under special controlled circumstances.”
