Special operation in Olkhazar-Kotar village

10_1.jpgKavkaz Center editorial staff has received a specified information on battle in the Urus-Martan district of Wilayah of Nokhchicho (Ichkeria) of the Caucasus Emirate on the night of 13 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1429 (20 March 2008).

According to source inside the command of Armed Forces of the Caucasus Emirate, a 70-strong Mujahideen unit entered Olkhazar-Kotar (Alkhazurovo) village and attacked apostate hideouts.

 

According to specified data of the source at least 13 murtadin were eliminated, up to 10 wounded as a result of successful operation. Several “police” elements were arrested. Their exact number is unknown.

 

According to reports Mujahideen attacked enemy by using grenade launchers and machine guns. During this incident, kuffar and murtadin opened indiscriminate gunfire and killed several peaceful residents. Puppet administration building was burned down.

 

Meanwhile, the occupation sources report contradictory information about gunbattle near the village of Olhazar-Kotar. In their version, detachment of murtadin and kuffar came across the base of the Mujahideen with up to 15 fighters. During the fight 3 Mujahideen were reportedly killed. At the same time occupiers claimed that 4 of their “soldiers” were killed and 6 others were wounded as a result of the battle.

 

Later on the kuffar reported new version of the events. A unit of murtadin entered into battle with 15-strong Mujahideen unit. During the battle were 5 “policemen” and one gang member of “prosecutor’s office” who was not “on duty”. 2 murtadin were injured. In this version kuffar report nothing about the base of Mujahideen.

One of the representatives of murtadin even stated that 8 Mujahideen were killed, “whose bodies were severely burned”.

 

After some time, sources inside the Command of kuffar acknowledged that the Mujahideen had attacked the locations of puppet formations in the village of Olkhazar-Kotar.

 

It is also claimed that the Mujahideen have allegedly fired on civilian vehicle and killed 1 local resident.

 

However, the sources of Kavkaz Center refute those allegations, reporting that murtadin and kuffar fired at civilians, taking them for the Mujahideen. The precise data on number of killed civilians is unknown. According to some information one civilian was killed, according to other data 3 residents of Urus-Martan district were killed.
