Amir Abu Usman met with Tarhan Gazi

25 Rabi‘al-Awwal 1429 (3 April 2008) the Amir of the Caucasus Emirate (CE) Abu Usman (Dokka Umarov) met with the CE Mukhabarat (intelligence) chief Tarhan Gazi.

Tarhan Gazi updated the Amir Abu Usman about results of the operational work conducted by the intelligence in the occupied territories of the Caucasus Emirate, preparations for the spring-summer military campaign and preliminary results of the investigation regarding the anti-State activity of the group of refugees consisting of some former members of the CRI (Chechen Republic of Ichkeria) government and parliament, residing abroad.

According to the report, the investigation revealed new important facts, which are currently carefully investigated and re-checked.

Among the considered [issues] was also [some] information regarding preliminary results of the investigation by the Supreme Sharia Court of the Caucasus Emirate regarding the anti-Islamic, anti-State activity of one of the ringleaders of the criminal group consisting of former members of the disbanded CRI government.

The chief of the Mukhabarat of the Caucasus Emirate also gave a report on a number of successful special operations aimed at neutralizing most active murtadin and kuffar, which were carried out during the autumn-winter period in the territory of Wilayah Nokhchicho and other regions of the Caucasus Emirate.

A number of other important issues were also considered, [particularly] regarding increasing the activity of the intelligence services of the Caucasus Emirate, including the activity in the territory of the invaders.
